Here is a cool idea for Elmo's birthday theme. Elmo birthday cake with some matching Elmo smash cakes! The centerpiece is made using a delicious chocolate sponge cake as base cake, then covered in red buttercream icing. Cover a sheet cake (any flavor) with white icing. Use red decorating icing in a tube with a star tip and pipe on stars in the shape of Elmo's face and hands. I used black decorating icing for the mouth. For the eyes I covered cookies with white icing and then added a black dot in the center.
